ADVENTURE TIME: FRIDAYS AT LACMA

Nothing says LA quite like the famous Urban Lights and palm trees. Spend tomorrow night at a great art museum with a little twist - LACMA Jazz Nights! Tomorrow is the last night that a live jazz band will be playing and I definitely recommend going because it's such a fun and friendly environment. My boyfriend and I planned to go back after our first time there about two months ago, but we're sad that we have to wait another year for this event because our schedules just got too busy. In no way am I a jazz connoisseur but that didn't stop me from having a great time at Jazz Night. If you go, make sure to get there on time at 6pm or even earlier if you want to reserve your own space on the open grass because it does get packed. Also, don't forget your picnic baskets and wine. Yes, I said wine! It's a great place to go for everyone - whether you're out on a date or out with your family. Don't leave your kids or dogs at home, they are very welcome here too. Not convinced yet? Well, did I mention that this is a free event? Yes, a free event in LA! If you cannot make it out tomorrow night then make sure to check it out next year from around mid-summer all the way up until the end of November!

ADVENTURE TIME: HALLOWEEN VERSION

mummy cake pop with m&m's as eyes

I know Halloween is in just a few days, but before the spookiest holiday comes to an end, make your way down to Anaheim to enjoy some frights and scares at Disneyland! I'm just kidding, it's more cute than frightful, which is why I've been here a couple times this month already because I can't handle actual scary things. The entire park is decorated to please the smallest of toddlers and they even have Mickey's Halloween Party during certain nights. Instead of chainsaws and freaky clowns, you can enjoy a nice walk in the decked out park in fun costumes! The only scary thing about Disneyland during this time of year is Space Mountain's transformation into Ghost Galaxy. I admit that I get a bit scared on this holiday themed ride, but I can't resist going on it because it is pretty fun! Also, check out the Nightmare Before Christmas themed Haunted Mansion ride. If you can't, don't fret because the Haunted Mansion ride stays themed until Christmas! Visit the happiest place on earth yourself before it's too late to see all the other decorations that I have unfortunately not captured and eat all the creepy foods they have to offer!
